Materials & Performance
The shade cloth is available in dark gray, light gray, and desert sand.
The acrylic fiber achieves the maximum colorfastness rating of 8 (ISO 150-B02/B04), which guarantees minimal color loss for 5 years.
The fabric is water-repellent, quick-drying, and breathable, ensuring comfortable seating. With UPF 50+, the fabric offers maximum protection against harmful UV rays.
A maximum score of 5 on the spray test (ISO 4920) confirms its water resistance in rainy conditions. When installed correctly, the fabric can withstand wind speeds of up to 8 on the Beaufort scale (74 km/h).
For optimal tension and water drainage, a slope of approximately 1 meter between the high and low sides is recommended.
Use & Maintenance
The fabric is suitable for semi-permanent use.
In stormy weather, during gusts of wind, or in freezing conditions, it is recommended that you temporarily remove the fabric.
Annual cleaning or waterproofing extends the fabric’s lifespan and improves its water- and dirt-repellent properties.
