Material & Performance The shade cloth is available in dark gray, light gray, and desert sand, ensuring it always complements your outdoor environment.
The acrylic fiber achieves a colorfastness rating of 8 (ISO 150-B02/B04), meaning the color will remain intact for 5 years without significant fading.
The fabric is water-repellent, quick-drying, and breathable, ensuring pleasant air circulation beneath the fabric.
The maximum UPF 50+ rating guarantees optimal protection against harmful UV radiation.
With a score of 5 on the spray test (ISO 4920), the fabric is waterproof in the rain.
When installed correctly, it can withstand wind speeds of up to 8 Beaufort (74 km/h).
For optimal performance, a slope of approximately 1 meter is recommended between the high and low sides, so that rainwater can drain properly and wind load is reduced.
Use & Maintenance
The shade cloth is suitable for semi-permanent use.
In case of frost, gusty winds, or stormy weather, it is recommended to remove the fabric to prevent damage.
Annual cleaning or impregnation extends the lifespan and preserves the water- and dirt-repellent properties.
